Sunrise-based Drik Panchangam. We compute Sun/Moon positions using Swiss Ephemeris in sidereal mode (Lahiri ayanamsa). For each date/location, Tithi / Nakshatram / Yogam / Karanam are evaluated at local sunrise, and end-times are the next astronomical boundary after sunrise.

Location & timezone. On first load, the app uses an IP-based approximate location for instant results. If you allow device location, it updates using your precise coordinates. For searched places, coordinates are obtained from OpenStreetMap Nominatim, and timezone is resolved from coordinates.

Rahu Kalam. Computed by splitting sunrise→sunset into 8 equal segments and choosing the weekday segment.

Note. Amruta Kalam / Varjyam are shown as placeholders in V3. They will be enabled once the tradition coefficient table is finalized.
